Practiceon scrap wood. From the front of the sew,
pushthe wood to the bladewith the mitergage. Do
notuse the ripfence.
WARNING: Make sure the blade guard is
lowered overblade and isworking properlyto
preventpossible injury.
Setthe bladeangle and height by looseningthe
bevellock handle and turningthe heightand bevel
handwheeis.Retightenthe bevel lock handle.
,_ WARNING: When bladeis angled to the left,
the miter gage must be on the dghtsideof the
blade.Otherwise the gagecould trap the
workpiece,possiblycausing kickbackand
resultingin injury.
Setthe wood angle by looseningthe miter gage
knoband settingit to the desiredangle.
Retightenmitergage knob.
Placea supportthe same heightas the top ofthe
sawtable behind thesaw for the cutwork.
II Make surethe wood is nottouchingthe blade.
Insertthe kay and liftthe switch tothe ON position.
Letthe blade build upto full speed.
Holdthe work firmly against the miter gage and
pushthe miter gage to feed the work intothe blade.
When the workis completed,pressthe switch off
and removethe key.
