•Serial number (located on the back of the printer)

•Installed options (i.e., interface and host type if applicable to the problem)

•Configuration printout:

Press PRT CONFIG on the control panel, then press Enter.

•Is the problem with a new install or an existing printer?

•Description of the problem (be specific)

•Good and bad samples that clearly show the problem (faxing of these samples may be required)
