13 Replacing the Power-Supply Unit

Procedure

1Align the screw holes on the power-supply unit with the screw holes on the computer base and replace the screws that secure the power-supply unit to the computer base.

2Connect the power-supply fan cable to the power-supply unit.

3Connect the power-supply indicator cable to the power-supply unit.

4Connect the power-port cable to the power-supply unit.

5Route the processor and main power-supply cables through their routing guides.

6Connect the processor and main power-supply cables to the system board.
