The utilities included with your printer software let you run the following maintenance procedures:
•Nozzle check
•Print head cleaning
•Print head alignment
•Speed and progress configuration
Running Nozzle Check and Head Cleaning Utilities
The nozzle check prints a pattern of dots that lets you see if any print head nozzles are clogged. If any dots are missing from the pattern, you can run a head cleaning cycle to clear the nozzles.
Follow these steps:
1.Click Start, point to Settings, then select Printers.
EPSON Stylus Pro 9000 or 9500 icon and select Properties. Or, access the Main Printer Properties dialog box.
2.Click the Utility tab. You see the Utility menu:
Click to run nozzle check.
Click to run head cleaning utility.
