Configuration and Management

The system logging information is written to 3 files in the system and these files are rotated in a circular fashion. The files are not saved to flash memory and will be lost when rebooting the system or when power is disconnected.

To view only a selection of the log events in the list, select a filter level from the “Display” list. Available log levels are “Alarms only” and “All”. The

“Alarms only” log level corresponds to the Alarm indicator on the Ericsson W3x and the information in the “ALARMS” section on the Overview page.

Click Refresh to update the list with new information. The most recent log events are listed at the bottom of the list.

3.10.1Persistent Logging

If persistent logging is enabled, the log files are written to flash memory in two alternating files meaning they will remain after a system restart or power failure.

Note: Persistent logging should only be used for debugging purposes since it consumes flash memory.

To enable this feature, select the “Persistent logging” check box on the Event Log page and click Apply to save the setting.

3.11Change Password

On the Change Password page the password used for logging in to the web pages can be changed. For security reasons you are recommended to change the preconfigured password.
