The scaler features four levels of horizontal filters, which help prevent detail loss, and ten levels of vertical filtering, which reduce flicker.
Other picture controls that the DDS 402 provides are centering, size, brightness, and contrast adjustments. The scaler also has a top and bottom line blanking function.
