written for the Palm Computing® platform. Unfortunately, we
are not able to support such a large number of third-party
applications. If you are having a problem with a third-party
application, please contact the developer or publisher of that

Problem Solution
When I install Palm™
Desktop software I get an
error that a modem i s
attached to my port, but
there is no modem
attached.
Take your handheld out of the cradle
and install again.
Problem Solution
My handheld won’t
turn on.
Try each of these in turn:
Adjust the contrast contro l.
Make sure the batteries are installed
properly.
Replace the batteries.
If your handheld still does not operate,
try a soft reset; see Appendix A.
