To remove a
1.When you start your computer, the Compaq logo appears on your display. For a few seconds, there will be a cursor flashing in the upper right hand corner. When this cursor appears, press the F10 key.
2.Using your arrow keys, select the Security option from the menubar.
3.Move to Set Supervisor Password. Press the Enter key.
4.Enter your current password. In the spaces to enter your new password and confirm your new password, press the Enter key. Press the Enter key again to exit the screen.
5.Move to Password on boot and use the + or – key to select Disable.
6.Using your arrow keys, select Exit from the menubar.
7.Make sure that Exit Saving Changes is selected. Press the Enter key.
8.Select Yes to save your changes and exit.
