The expansion port signal information in this section may be helpful if you plan to use an optional notebook docking device that connects to the expansion port 2 on your notebook (select models only).

For the location of the expansion port 2, refer to “Left-Side Components” in Chapter 1, “Component ID.”

✎If your notebook has an expansion port 2, it has only one expansion port. The term expansion port 2 describes the type of expansion port.
