Depending on your notebook model, light locations may vary.

Component		Description

1	Power/standby light	On: Notebook is turned on.
		Blinking: Notebook is in standby.
		Off: Notebook is off or in hibernation.

2	Wireless light	On: One or more internal wireless devices
	(select models only)	have been turned on.
		✎ To establish a wireless connection,
		a wireless network must already be
		set up. For more information, refer
		to Chapter 11, “Wireless (Select
		Models Only).”

3	Mute light	On: Volume is muted.

4	Num lock light	On: Num lock or the embedded numeric
		keypad is on.

5	Caps lock light	On: Caps lock is on.
