Replacing a Battery Pack
ÄCAUTION: To prevent loss of work when removing a battery pack that is the only power source, turn off the notebook or initiate hibernation. (If you initiate hibernation, do not begin the following procedure until the power/standby lights are turned off, indicating that hibernation is complete.)
Removing a Battery Pack
To remove a battery pack:
1.Turn the notebook upside down.
2.Slide the battery release latch 1 to release the battery pack.
3.Pivot the battery pack away from the notebook 2 and remove it from the battery bay 3.
