Checking the status of media

Run fsemedium --list[--detail]to get information on media status for all media configured in the FSE implementation. As shown in the example that follows, the output is the following:

the medium barcode (Barcode),

the medium type (Type),

the name of the FSE media pool the medium belongs to (Pool),

the current medium status (Status),

the current physical location of the medium (Location),

the number of all medium volumes (data volumes and system volumes) (#Vol),

the system volume index according to its location on the medium (SysVolNo).

If you use the --detailoption, fsemedium formats its output in a different way and displays the following additional media attributes:

the name of the FSE library in which the medium is located (LibName),

the address of the slot in which the medium is located (SlotAddr),

the type of slot in which the medium is located (SlotType),

the name of the FSE drive in which the medium is loaded (DrvName),

the serial number of the medium (SerialNo),

the medium block size (BlockSize),

the size of the system volume (SysVolSize),

the UUID of the currently used medium volume (CurVol),

the RMDB entry key of the medium (Key).
