ProcessFileFromBeginning

Analysis mode:

= analyze only the newly-added log messages (default)

= analyze the entire log file (for debug purpose)

 

 

IgnoreCase

Case sensitivity of the regular expressions in the rules files:

= regular expressions are case sensitive (default)

= ignore case in regular expressions

 

 

ServerName

Name or IP address of the SMTP server

 

 

UseSMTPAuthentication

Authentication mode:

= disables authentication (default)

= enables authentication

 

If SMTP authentication is enabled, the following parameters are also required:

MailText

The text contained in the mail. If the text consists of several lines, the lines must

 

start with blanks.

 

 

Subject

E-mail subject

 

 

SubjectPrefix

The text placed in front of the subject of the MailCurrentLogMessage

 

action. For more information on the MailCurrentLogMessage action, see

 

section ”The rules configuration file” on page 204.

AttachmentPrefix

Prefix of the analysis results file. The format of the analysis results filename is

 

as follows:

 

AttachmentPrefix_YYMMDD_HHMMSS.log.zip

 

Such a naming convention ensures that the analysis results files sent to

 

receivers are not overwritten.

 

 

ZipAttachment

Compression mode:

= disables the compression of attachments

= enables the compression of attachments (default)

Message packages (all filtered log messages) dispatch or dump interval in

DestinationIP

The IP address of the SNMP server

 

 

CommunityName

A name used to group SNMP hosts. By default, all hosts belong to the public

 

community, which is the standard name for the common community of all

 

SNMP hosts.

 

 

SenderOID

Object ID (OID) of the sender system. The OID for FSE is

 

1.3.6.1.4.1.18945.1.1.0.

 

 

 

IMPORTANT: In the general configuration file, the lines with configured parameters must not contain leading spaces.
