Field	Description

indirect	The next hop to the host or subnet destination will be
	forwarded through a router at the Gateway address.

direct	Packets will be delivered to a destination host or subnet
	attached to the switch.

local	Indicates a route to one of the switch’s IP interfaces.

broadcast	Indicates a broadcast route.

martian	The destination belongs to a host or subnet which is filtered
	out. Packets to this destination are discarded.

multicast	Indicates a multicast route.

ospf	The address was learned by Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).

broadcast	Indicates a broadcast address.

martian	The address belongs to a filtered group.
