zThe camera, the dock, or the quick recharger may be warm while operating and charging a lithium ion battery. This is normal.

zA lithium ion battery can be left in the camera, the dock, or the quick recharger for any period of time without harm to the battery or the camera, the dock, or the quick recharger. Always store charged batteries in a cool location.

Safety Precautions for Recharging Lithium Ion Batteries

zDo not charge any battery other than the HP Photosmart R07 lithium ion battery in the camera, the dock, or the quick recharger.

zInsert the lithium ion battery in the correct orientation in the camera, the dock, or the quick recharger.

zUse the camera, the dock, or the quick recharger in a dry location only.

zDo not charge a lithium ion battery in a hot location, such as in direct sunlight or near a fire.

zWhen recharging a lithium ion battery, do not cover the camera, the dock, or the quick recharger in any way.

zDo not operate the camera, the dock, or the quick recharger if the lithium ion battery appears damaged in any way.
