1In the Capture Menu (page 50), select ISO Speed.

2In the ISO Speed sub-menu, use

the buttons to highlight a setting.

3Press Menu/OK to save the setting and return to the Capture Menu.

If the setting is anything other than the default Auto setting, the number value for the setting will appear in the Live View screen.

The new setting remains in effect until it is changed again or until the camera is turned off. The ISO Speed setting resets to the default Auto setting when you turn the camera off. Holding down the Menu/OK button when you turn the camera back on will restore this setting to what it was when you turned it off.

AE Metering

NOTE This setting does not apply when recording video clips.

This setting allows you to specify which region of a scene the camera will use to calculate the exposure.

1In the Capture Menu (page 50), select AE Metering.

2In the AE Metering sub-menu, use

the buttons to highlight a setting. The new setting is applied to the Live View screen behind the menu, so you can see the effect each setting will have on the picture.

3Press Menu/OK to save the setting and return to the Capture Menu.
