Getting to Know iPAQ Mobile Media

■A working Wi-Fi home network

■At least one personal computer connected to your network running Windows XP (Home, Professional, Media Center, or Tablet Edition)

■Mobile Media for PC installed on all Windows XP computers on your network with which you want to use iPAQ Mobile Media. (Install Mobile Media for PC from the Companion CD that came with your HP iPAQ.)

The following table defines the iPAQ Mobile Media icons and software buttons.

Icon Name

Definition

Media Control - play and control digital media on PCs connected to your Wi-Fi network.

Media Stream - stream digital media from personal computers on your Wi-Fi network to play on your HP iPAQ.

Local Media - play digital media stored on your HP iPAQ.

Media Copy - transfer digital media from personal computers to your HP iPAQ over your Wi-Fi network.

Home Control - control your home entertainment devices.
