Bluetooth Connections - Faster than IR, but setting up a Bluetooth connection can differ from device to device. For more information, refer to “Adding a Bluetooth Printer”

IR Connections - IR connections are the slowest, but easiest to use. For more information, refer to “Adding an IR Printer”

Network Connections - Network connections are somewhat more complicated to set up than IR and Bluetooth connections, but have the advantage of being the fastest. For more information, refer to “Adding a Network Printer.”

Once you have determined what connection you will use, choose the connection method from the Choose Kind of Printer list and tap the Next button. As previously mentioned, the next screen displayed depends on which connection method was chosen.

Adding a Bluetooth Printer

Bluetooth connectivity differs from device to device. Also, a device might have Bluetooth built-in or it may be an optional accessory. Before continuing, you might want to familiarize yourself with the Bluetooth options available on your HP iPAQ and your Bluetooth printer.
