Getting to Know iPAQ Mobile Media

■Transfer digital media from personal computers to your HP iPAQ over your Wi-Fi network (Media Copy mode)

Note: Mobile Media for PC is only supported for PCs running Windows XP (Home, Professional, Media Center, or Tablet editions). It cannot be installed on PCs running Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows 98, or Windows 95.

Minimum System Requirements

To properly use the Mobile Media features on your personal computer, you need the following items:

■802.11 b/g Wi-Fi home network (your personal computer connected to your Wi-Fi home network)

■Microsoft Windows XP Home, Professional, Media Center, or Tablet editions

■Microsoft ActiveSync 3.7.1 or higher

■37 - 300MB available hard disk space (actual requirements will vary based on selection of features and user’s current system configuration)

■256MB RAM recommended

To install Mobile Media for PC, follow these steps

1.Insert the Companion CD that came with your HP iPAQ into a personal computer you want to access with iPAQ Mobile Media.

2.At the main menu, select Install Mobile Media for PC.

3.Follow the instructions of the installation wizard.

Mobile Media for PC installs three applications onto your personal computer.
