Purpose Selects the print mode (Letter Gothic, Courier, or OCR) and
character pitch in characters per inch (cpi).

NOTE: Thep rint mode must be changed before the first printable symbol of a
print line or the command sequence is deferred until the next line.
Comment Print mode and pitch can also be selected from the control
panel. The print mode/pitch select control code from the host
computer overrides the control panel print mode setting and the
print mode and pitch selection are reflected on the message
display.
