Using QMS DOC

The QMS DOC command syntax for page orientation is

Your choices for selection are portrait and landscape. (See the QMS Crown Document Option Commands manual for complete informa- tion.)

Using VMS Commands

If you are connected to the printer through a DECnet network, you can use the VMS PRINT command qualifier PAGE_ORIENTATION to select orientation.

The PRINT command syntax for orientation is

$ PRINT/PARAM=(PAGE_ORIENTATION=SELECTION)- filename

Your choice for SELECTION is either PORTRAIT or LANDSCAPE. (See the VMS Interface for QMS Printers manuals for complete infor- mation.)

Three-hole-punched Paper Orientation

On the QMS 4525 Print System paper is inserted print-side down. The hole placement must be as shown in the illustrations below for proper image orientation for both three-hole punching and stapling because staples are placed only in the top left corner on the physical page.
