Media Sizes and Imageable Areas

Your printer supports paper, transparencies and other types of print media in a variety of sizes. (See chapter 5, the “Manual Feed” sec- tion, for specific paper type information.) Each size has a specific imageable area, the maximum area the printer is capable of printing for that size media. The imageable area is determined by hardware limits (the physical page size and the margins required by the print engine) and software constraints (the amount of memory available for the full-page frame buffer).

The following are the supported paper types and their imageable areas:
