10 SET MODE

DCI-V address

To distinguish equipment, each CI-V transceiver/receiver has its own Icom standard address in hexadecimal code. The IC- R20’s address is “6C.”

When 2 or more IC-R20s are connected to an optional CT-17 CI-V LEVEL CONVERTOR, set a different address for each IC-

R20 in the range “01” to “7F.”

(default: 6C)

DCI-V baud rate

Sets the data transfer rate. When “AUTO” is selected, baud rate is automatically set according to the connected controller

or other Icom CI-V radio.

DCI-V transceive

CI-V transceive operation is possible with the IC-R20 con- nected to an Icom CI-V radio. When “ON” is selected, chang- ing the frequency, operating mode, etc. on the IC-R20 automatically changes those of connected radios and vice

versa.

(default: ON)
