TURN ON THE RECORDER

Press POWER.

● Set the recorder to the channel (3 or 4 or L-1 or F-1) on which the signals from the DBS receiver are received.

ACCESS MAIN MENU SCREEN

Press MENU.

ACCESS INITIAL SET SCREEN

1) At the top of Main Menu screen, move the arrow to “INITIAL SET UP” by pressing @# (or 23), then press fi (or ∞) or OK.

		SELECT WITH [∞523]
screen, move the arrow	SELECT OK	END THEN PRESS [OK]
to “INITIAL SET” by

pressing @# (or 23), then press OK.

If your DBS receiver is connected to your recorder using an RF connection, press %fi (or 5∞) until the channel number representing the DBS receiver’s output (CH3 – CH4) appears on the screen.

1 Select a channel other than channel 55, 100 or 205 on your DBS receiver.

If your DBS receiver is connected to your recorder’s REAR or FRONT AUDIO/VIDEO IN connectors, press %fi (or 5∞) until “ON L-1 REAR” or “ON F-1 FRONT” appears on the screen.
