Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.

If the recorder is turned on with HDD deck selected, there may be about 30 seconds' delay in starting to show pictures on the screen.

Superimpose

This function, switchable between ON and OFF, determines whether or not operational indicators will appear on screen.

a– Select “ON” if you want the superimposed opera- tional indications on the screen for about 5 seconds when operating the recorder.

NOTE:

If you select a channel on which no signal is received, the channel number is displayed regardless of the Superimpose mode setting.
