G-CODE™/

SHOWVIEW™ Timer

Programming

With the G-CODE/SHOWVIEW system, timer programming is
greatly simplified because each TV programme has a
corresponding code number which your unit is able to
recognize.
ASelect the S-VHS deck.
On the unit
Press S-VHS/DVD repeatedly so that the S-VHS indicator
lights up.
On the remote control
Press S-VHS so that the S-VHS indicator lights up.
BAccess the G-CODE/SHOWVIEW screen.
CEnter the G-CODE number.

INFORMATION

G-CODE and SHOWVIEW are different trademarks used to
represent the same easy recording feature, but only the term
G-CODE system will be used in the instructions. If you use the
SHOWVIEW system, follow the same instructions listed for the
G-CODE system.
Before performing the G-CODE™/SHOWVIEW™ Timer
Programming:
Be sure to read “G-CODE™/SHOWVIEW™ System Setup”
(pg. 31).
Make sure that the unit’s built-in clock is set properly.
Insert a cassette with the safety tab in place. The unit will
come on automatically.
Turn on the TV and select the video channel (or AV mode).
Slide the TV/S-VHS/DVD switch to the right.
Press PROG.
Press the number keys to
enter the G-CODE number of
a programme you wish to
record.
If you make a mistake, press &
and input the correct number.
