Locating the start point of the item or	Still Picture/Frame-By-Frame
skip the item	Playback

Press 2 or 6 during playback.

Example:

To locate the beginning of item B from the current position, press

2twice.

To locate the beginning of item D from the current position, press 6 once.

Current position

1Pause during playback.

Press 9.

2Activate frame-by-frame playback.

Press 9.

●When you press and hold 9 for more than 2 seconds, the unit enters in strobe playback pause mode. ( pg. 45). To cancel strobe playback mode, press and hold 9 for more than 2 seconds again.

●To resume normal playback, press 4.

●When the specified item is located, playback begins automatically.

High-Speed Search

During playback, press 5 for forward high-speed search, or 3 for reverse high-speed search.

●To resume normal playback, press 4.

OR

During playback, press and hold 6 for forward high- speed search, or press and hold 2 for reverse high- speed search.

●To resume normal playback, release 2 or 6.

Slow Motion

During still picture, press 3 or 5.

●The speed changes for each direction by pressing 3 or 5repeatedly.

●To resume normal playback, press 4.

Resume Function

It is possible to memorize the position where you stop playback and resume playback from that position.

●Be sure to set “RESUME” to “ON”. ( pg. 82)

1Memorize the resume point.

Press 8.

●The unit enters Resume Stop mode and memorise the position where you stop playback as the resume point.

●“rESUM” appears on the front display panel.

●To clear the resume point:

•Press 1 to turn off the unit.

•Eject the disc.

•Press 8 in stop mode.

•Set “RESUME” to “OFF”. ( pg. 82)

2Resume playback.

Press 4. The unit start playback from the resume point.

●“rESUM” appears on the front display panel.
