Clearing the paper path The Clear Path option is displayed when the scanner is enabled or idle, but not when scanning.
When this option is selected, the paper transport will run for a short period of time, ensuring that the paper path is clear without opening the pod. This option is active after a multifeed is detected, but not after a document jam is detected.
