4 Install the duplex option.

Note

When attaching the duplex option, attach the bottom of the option first, as shown. If the duplex option is attached incorrectly, it may be damaged.

5 Open the cover of the duplex option.

" Since the duplex option is not yet secured to the printer, hold the duplex option in place when opening its cover.
