Loading Envelopes

1 Remove the lid from Tray 1, and then open the front panel of Tray 1.

2 Remove any media from the tray.

3 Slide the media guides to pro- vide more space between them.

4 Load the envelopes flap side down in the tray.

" Before loading enve- lopes, press them down

to make sure that all air is removed, and make sure that the folds of the flaps are firmly pressed; other-

wise the envelopes may

become wrinkled or a media misfeed may

occur.

" Up to 10 envelopes can be loaded into the tray at one time.
