How to load the 250-sheet and 550-sheet trays

Follow these instructions to load paper in the 250-sheet tray and 550-sheet tray.

1Remove the tray.

Note: If you are going to load legal or folio size paper, you have to extend the length of the paper tray. See Extending the tray for legal or folio size paper on page 32 for instructions.

2Prepare a stack of paper for loading by flexing and fanning it back and forth. Straighten the edges on a level surface.
