8Press the arrow buttons until the tr ay or source containing the si ze you want the copy to be ap pears, and then
press .
Note: If you select a paper size that is different from the o riginal size, then the printer will scale the size
automatically.
9Press .
10 Change the copy settings as needed.
11 Press .
12 If you placed the document on the scanner glass and have additional pages to copy, then place the next page
on the scanner glass, and then press 1 on the keypad. Otherwise, press 2 on the keypad.
13 Press to return to Ready.
Making copies using paper from a selected tr ay
1Load an original document faceup, short edge first into the ADF or facedown on the scanner glass.
Note: Do not load postcards, photos, small items, transparencies, photo paper, or thin med ia (such as magazine
clippings) into the ADF. Place these items on the scan ner glass.
2If you are loading a document into the ADF, then adjust the paper guides.
3From the printer control panel, press the Copy button.
4Press the Options button.
5Press the arrow button s until Paper Source appears, and then press .
6Press the arrow buttons until the tray or so urce containing the paper type that you w ant appears, and then press
.
7Press .
8Change the copy settings as needed.
9Press .
10 If you placed the document on the scanner glass and have additional pages to copy, then place the next page
on the scanner glass, and then press 1 on the keypad. Otherwise, press 2 on the keypad.
11 Press to return to Ready.

Note: The ADF duplex feature is not available on selected printer models.
