AnsweringCalls

1.Make sure yourphone is on. (If yourphone is off, incoming calls go to voicemail.)

2.Press to answeran incoming call.(Depending on yoursettings, you may also answerincoming calls by pressing any numberkey. See “Call AnswerMode”on page 65 formore information.)

Yourphone notifies you of incoming calls in the following ways:

The phone rings orvibrates.

The indicatorlight flashes.

The backlight illuminates.

The screen displays an incoming call message.

If the incoming call is from a numberstored in your Contacts, the entry’s name is displayed.The caller’s phone numbermay also be displayed, if available.

The following options are also displayed.To select an option, press the corresponding softkey.

Silence to mute the ringer.

Ignore to ignore the call.
