With yourSprint service, you are ready to start enjoying the advantages of SprintVision.This section will help you learn the basics of using yourSprintVision services, including managing yourusername, launching aVision connection, and navigating theWeb with yourphone.

YourUserName

When you buy yourphone and sign up forservice, you’re automatically assigned a username, which is typically based on yourname and a number, followed by “@sprintpcs.com.”(Forexample, the third John Smith to sign up forSprintVision services might have jsmith003@sprintpcs.com as his username.)

When you use SprintVision services, yourusername is submitted to identify you to the Sprint National Network. The username is also useful as an address forSprint Mail, as a way to personalizeWeb services, and as an online virtual identity.

Yourusername will be automatically programmed into yourphone.You don’t have to enterit.

FindingYourUserName

If you aren’t sure what yourusername is, you can easily find it online oron yourphone.

Atwww.sprint.com. Sign on to youraccount using your phone numberand password.To display youruser name, click on the MyPersonalInformation menu, then click on VisionUserName.

Onyourphone.You can find yourusername underthe

PhoneInformation option in yourphone’s Settings menu ( >Settings>PhoneInformation).

UpdatingYourUserName

If you choose to change yourusername and select a new one online, you must then update the username on yourphone.

Press >Settings>More...>Data>UpdateData Profile. (To cancel, press before completing the update.)
