1.Press >Messaging>SendMessage>Text Message and select the entry method you prefer. (See “Using SMSText Messaging”on page 125.)

To type a message, use yourkeypad to enteryour message. Use the right softkey to select a characterinput mode. (See “EnteringText”on page 28.)

To use a preset message ora smiley, press the right softkey, select PresetMessagesorSmileys,

and then highlight yourdesired message or emoticon and press .

4.Highlight Options, select Priority and press your navigation key right orleft to set the message priority (Normal orUrgent).

5.If you wish to change yourcallback number, select it

and press , then select None, MyPhoneNumber, orOther, and press . (If you select Other, enterthe desired numberand press .)

6.Press Done (left softkey).

7.Press Send (left softkey) to send the message.
