The RC supplies phantom power to the WFB (over the transmit/receive pairs) if no CAUs are used by the WFB and if the maximum Category 3
The WFB requires an auxiliary power supply if the phantom power requirements are exceeded.
NOTE:
A bulk power supply can also be used.
The auxiliary power supply to the WFB should use unshielded twisted pair cable. The cable length should not exceed 328 feet for 24 AWG or 222 feet for 26 AWG. See the “Representative Wiring of the Category 3
