Voice Notes

You can use Voice Notes to work with short voice recordings. Voice notes are included in the All Notes list and are named consecutively (Recording 1, Recording 2, and so on).

Create a voice note

1On the Home screen, select Start.

2Select Voice Notes.

3Hold the Smartphone microphone near your mouth.

4Press the Record key and speak your voice note.

5Select Stop to stop recording a voice note. The voice note is recorded and appears in the All Notes list of Voice Notes.

Playing a voice note

1On the Home screen, select Start.

2Select Voice Notes.

3Scroll to the voice note to play.

4Select Menu and then Play.

Tip: To stop playing a voice note before it is finished playing, select Stop.

Rename a voice note

1On the Home screen, select Start.

2Select Voice Notes.

3Scroll to the voice note to rename.

4Select Menu and then Rename.

5In Name, hold down m to delete the current name and then enter a new name.

6Select Done.

Delete a voice note

1On the Home screen, select Start.

2Select Voice Notes.

3Scroll to the voice note to delete.

4Select Menu and then Delete.

5Select Yes.

Note: If you delete a voice note that has a default name, such as Recording 1, this name becomes available for a new voice note that you create. For example, if you have 3 voice notes, named Recording 1, Recording 2, and Recording 3, and you delete Recording 1, the next voice note you create will be named Recording 1.

Set a voice note as your ring tone

1On the Home screen, select Start.

2Select Voice Notes.

3Scroll to the voice note you want to set as your ring tone.

4Select Menu and then Set as Ringtone.

5Select OK.
