Troubleshooting
This appendix describes solutions to problems that you might
encounter using the Measure DAQ Add-In.
Problem: No DAQ menu appears.
Solution: From the Tools»Add-Ins. Click on the
Browse button and look for DAQ.XLA in
the directory where you installed Measure.
Once you find it, select it and click on the
OK button. If a dialog box appears with the
message Replace existing
‘DAQ.XLA’? click on the Yes button. You
will see a Measure Data Acquisition Add-In
entry in the list box and the checkbox next
to it will be checked. Click on the OK
button.
Problem: The list of data acquisition devices is empty.
Solution: Verify with the NI-DAQ Configuration
Utility (WDAQCONF.EXE) that you have
properly installed and configured your
device. Verify that your device is supported
by Measure. Refer to Appendix B, DAQ
Hardware Capabilities.
