Service Conditions
1. Synchronous communication speeds of 2.4K, 4.8K, 9.6K, and 48 kbps are supported.
2. Synchronous DTEs connected to synchronous Data Adapters via a Dterm can originate calls to other
synchronous DTEs.
3. Synchronous DTEs connected to synchronous Data Modules originate calls to other synchronous DTEs
by using V25 bis procedure or the DATA HOT LINE [D-77] feature. Two synchronous Data Modules can
also communicate via a Nailed Down Connection. Refer to NAILED DOWN CONNECTION [N-9] for
details.
4. Synchronous DTEs connected to the NEAX2400 IPX must accept timing signals from the NEAX2400
IPX. This type of timing is referred to as External Timing.
5. Data Modules and Data Adapters are DCE devices.
6. Attribute Data must be assigned for the sync./async. Data Adapter.
