To download the software image, you need a properly configured Trivial File

Transfer Protocol (TFTP) server in your networ k, and an IP add res s for the switch

(or stack, if configured). To learn how to c onf igure the switch or stack IP address,

refer to “IP Configuration/Setup screen” on page155.

To open the Software Download screen:

➨Choose Software Download (or press f) from the main menu.

You can monitor the software download process by observing the LEDs

(see “LED Indications during the download process” on page261).
