Field Description

Find an Address Allows you to search for a specific MAC address that is used in any of the

MAC Address Security Table screens.

MAC Address Allows you to specify up to 448 MAC addresses that are authorized to access

the switch. You can specify the ports that each MAC address is allowed to

access using the Allowed Source field (see next field description). The

specified MAC address does not take effect until the Allowed Source field is

set to some value (a single unit/port number or a port list value that you

previously configured in the MAC Address Security Port Lists screen). Y o u can

clear an existing MAC address field by entering zero (0) in the field and

pressing [Enter].

Default -----(no address assigned)

Range A range of 6 Hex Octets, separated by dashes (multicast1

and broadcast addresses are not allowed).
