i2022 ISDN Teleset

Outside Code – This is the prefix you dial to reach a phone number outside of your business group. This is usually a 9.

Local Calls – This is the number of digits required to dial a local call after the Outside Code is dialed. Choices are 7 digit, 10 digit or 1+10 digit.

Press Change. The Teleset will prompt you to enter the number of digits needed for Inside Dialing. Select either 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 using the dial keypad. In our example, we selected 4. Press Save.

Next the Teleset will prompt you to enter the Outside Code. Enter the Outside Code using the dial keypad. Up to 3 digits are allowed. In our example, we entered 9. Press Save.

Finally the Teleset will prompt you to enter the number of digits used to make a local call. This does not include the Outside Code digits. In our example, we use 7 digit.

The Teleset’s display will now be as follows.

Inside Dialing : 4 Digit

Outside Code : 9

Local Calls : 7 Digit

Next Prev Change

MORE is flashing

If all of the choices are correct press Next. If the choices are not correct, press Change.

The Teleset will now prompt you to enter all of the Nxx codes in your business group. Most users will enter only one Nxx code. However some users and very large Centrex users, may have more than one Nxx code. Press Change and enter your Nxx Code. In the example, we entered 555.

Clear Save

MORE is flashing

Press Save. If you have multiple Nxx codes press the Next key and enter the other codes the same way. In the example we have only one Nxx Code so we will press Finish.
