Description Alternative Call Routing for Network Bandwidth Management (NBWM) is

availablefor CS 1000 Release 4.5 andCS 1000Release 5.0 .

Alternative Call Routing for Network Bandwidth Management (NBWM)

allows a station-to-station call (that is, a call that does not use a trunk)

between a branch ofﬁce and main ofﬁce to overﬂowto traditional routes.

Overﬂow can occur if there is insufﬁcient interzone bandwidth available

to carry the call or if the Quality of Service (QoS) has degraded to

unacceptable levels. The feature also applies to station-to-station calls

from one branch ofﬁce to another branch ofﬁce, provided both stations are

registered to the same main ofﬁce.
