Conﬁguring the branch ofﬁce zone

Step Action

1Conﬁgure the branch ofﬁce zone on the branchofﬁce.

In the branch ofﬁce, only the zone number and bandwidth/codec

selection is conﬁgured.

Use the same zone number between the branch ofﬁce and main

ofﬁce. The main ofﬁce conﬁguration (Procedure 15 "Conﬁguring the

main ofﬁce" (page 195), step 6) provides the branch ofﬁce zone

characteristics (local time, local dialing, and ESA).

2Conﬁgure the routing tables on the SRG.

The SRG must recognize the incoming digits on the Virtual Trunkand

remove all butthe ESDN. The call is routed to a local termination.

Emergency Services for Virtual Ofﬁce

The E911 Virtual Ofﬁce feature allows Virtual Ofﬁce users, whether they are

logged in or logged out of Virtual Of��ce to place an emergency (E911) call

to the correct Public Safety Answering Point(PSAP) for their geographical

location.
