Description This section applies to the main ofﬁce and the following IP Phones:

The redirected IP Phones at the SRG 50 are under the control of the main

ofﬁce Call Server for the majority of the deployment (Normal Mode). Users

of the SRG IP Phones receivethe features, key layout, and tones of the main

ofﬁce Call Server. Therefore, the version of the IP Phone ﬁrmware must

align with the requirements of the CS 1000. When an IP Phone requires

ﬁrmware upgrade, the CS 1000 uses the umsUpgradeAll command, or

variant, to redirect the IP Phone back to the SRG 50 for upgrading.
