TelephoneA calls Telephone B (the user dials DN 3121). In this example,

the call alternately routes to the PSTN. (The PSTN telephone number of

TelephoneB is 613-966-3121.)

Conﬁguration required Conﬁgure the following:

At the main ofﬁce:

•Use one of the dialing plan software packages to process the call, such

as CDP or NARS.

•Provision an ALTPreﬁxfor the MO zone.

•Provision the ALTPreﬁxas a Steering Code at the main ofﬁce. Build a

Route List Index (RLI) so these calls go to the virtual trunk or conﬁgure

the VacantNumber Routing featureto do the same.

•Provision the ALTPreﬁxas a Steering Code. Build a Route List Index

(RLI). Translatethese calls to go to this RLI which contains PSTN or

MCDN trunks.

•Set up a Digit Manipulation Index (DMI) to outpulse the correct digits to

the branch ofﬁce telephone.

At the branch ofﬁce:

•No provisioning required.

At the NRS:

•No provisioning required.
