Chapter 4 Troubleshooting 101

Action:

To ensure that the most current data is loaded:

1Close the current policy, if opened. Saving is not permitted until this error is remedied.

2From the policy selection window, select All from the Refresh menu.

System files were not loaded properly

Description: This error occurred because the files necessary to load the Stateful Firewall Manager were either not downloaded from the VPN Router properly or were not initialized properly.

Action:

If this error is encountered:

1Close the Stateful Firewall Manager.

2Close all instances of the browser used to load the Stateful Firewall Manager.

3Restart the browser and navigate to the System > Firewall window.

4Reload the Stateful Firewall Manager.

If the error continues to occur or if the Stateful Firewall Manager is accessed through a user tunnel:

1Open the Java Plug-inProperties.

2On Windows systems, select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Java Plug-in. For all other systems, see the Java Plug-in documentation.

3Deselect Cache JARs in Memory.

4Click Apply and close the Java Plug-in Properties window.

5Close the Stateful Firewall Manager.

6Close all instances of the browser used to load the Stateful Firewall Manager.

7Restart the browser and navigate to the System > Firewall window.

8Reload the Stateful Firewall Manager.
