The lens barrel is retracted.

•The lens barrel retracts about 15 seconds after switching from [REC] mode to [PLAYBACK] mode.

The ring at the end of the lens barrel turns.

•This is constructed to turn when attaching or detaching a filter so that the lens is protected.
