Setting the output method of the HDMI connection

> [Motion Picture] > [HDMI Rec Output]

Sets the picture quality for the HDMI output.

[4:2:2 8bit]:

Allows you to record the image being output through the HDMI connection

as a motion picture. This option is ideal for monitoring the image on the

external monitor while recording it.

[4:2:2 10bit]:

[Bit Mode]

Allows you to output the image through the HDMI connection in high picture

quality. This option is ideal for saving the image on the external device.

You can select [4:2:2 10bit] only in Creative Video Mode.

If you output the image through the HDMI connection when [Bit Mode] is

set to [4:2:2 10bit], motion pictures cannot be recorded.

If you use the HDMI output with [Bit Mode] set to [4:2:2 10bit], the Wi-Fi

function will be disabled.

Shows or hides the displays of information.

[ON]:

Outputs the displays on the camera as they are.

[Info Display]

[OFF]:

Outputs only the image.

If you output the image through the HDMI connection when [Bit Mode] is set to [4:2:2 10bit], this setting is fixed to [OFF].

Switches the picture quality according to the connected device.

[AUTO]:

When the motion picture size is set to [4K] or [C4K] in [Rec Quality] and the

connected device is not responding, the HDMI output picture quality

automatically switches to [1080p].

[4K Down

[1080p]:

When the motion picture size is set to [4K] or [C4K] in [Rec Quality], the

Convert]

HDMI output picture quality switches to [1080p].

[OFF]:

Outputs the image through the HDMI connection with the picture quality set in [Rec Quality].

When [OFF] is set, the image may not be displayed depending on the connected device.

If [4K Down Convert] works when the motion picture size is set to [4K] or [C4K] in [Rec Quality] and the image is output through the HDMI connection, it may take longer than usual to adjust the focus with Auto Focus and the camera may respond slower to continuous focus adjustment.

If you use the Wi-Fi function while using the HDMI output with [Bit Mode] set to [4:2:2 8bit], the image will not be displayed on the camera's screen.

When you use the HDMI output during recording, the image may be displayed with a time lag.
