If you turn off the power or set the mode dial to , Help mode, MagicPix, Backlight compensation,
self timer and tele macro functions are canceled.
If you turn off the power, the fade function is canceled.

When you start recording, the image/audio gradually
appears. (Fade in)
When you pause recording, the image/audio gradually
disappears. (Fade out)
For fade out, the recording stops and the fade setting is
canceled after the image and audio have disappeared
completely.
To select the color for fade in/out

[RECORD SETUP] # [FADE COLOR] # [WHITE] or
[BLACK]
Backlight compensation
This makes the image brighter to prevent darkening of a
backlit subject.
Help mode Select the icon of the function that you want to know with
the cursor button and then an explanation of the selected
icon scrolls at the bottom of the screen. (Except headphone
volume adjustment)
To exit the help mode, press the MENU button or select
[END].
